Tired if Gifting. Her Birthday, Anniversary, Valentine's Day and now freaking Christmas Gift: I am getting tired of getting my wife gifts. Not only do I hate shopping, I've run out of ideas after so many years. How do you married folks deal with it. Matter of fact, I have extended family (thanks to DV) that I need to buy gifts for this borrowed tradition of exchanging gifts during Christmas. The newbies are more excited for Christmas than Dasain or Tihar. It truly sucks man.

 same here.. always hate to go Mall but after mariage its been like routine due to these freaking gifts.

I do not know about the other occasions but for Christmas you can simply tell her that you are not Santa Claus!

am making a bunch of gulab jamun and , make a pack and gift them , thats has been my idea for this christmas, they gift sweets and we gift them gulab jamun, lol

Gift giving isn't even a normal tradition among Nepali Christians (have a few Christian friends). Not sure why Nepalese feel like the need to blatantly copy traditions that we're not accustomed to. Not that there's anything wrong with it, still, when you see people getting excited about Christmas (especially back home) without even caring about the true meaning of Christmas, you gotta wonder if us being labeled copy cats is valid.
