as long as i can feel any emotions
anything at all
you will remain with me.
like the wind whistling through my hair
like the blood running deep under my veins
within me there shall be you.
And
i will treasure everything
that will remind me of you
i will lock them away
safe with my heartbeats
and i will compensate for treasures i can't keep
your voice, your smile, the sound of your breathe
by playing them over and over in my head
in repeat.
and if i ever should forget you my dear
if such thing could happen
know that i have turned numb
know that my heart no longer beats on its own.
