Dear Friends:

The Nepalese community in Houston mourns the death of 21-year old Mr. Ashok Bhattarai who was shot during the store robbery where he was working in the evening of Sept 28, 2008. Mr. Ashok Bhattarai was a student of Houston Community College.

The grief-stricken parents of late Mr. Bhattarai have asked his friends in Houston to send his body back as they will not be able to travel.

In order to fulfill the wishes of the grieving family, we urge all our friends to kindly contribute whatever you can so that his family members in Nepal could perform Mr. Bhattarais final rites. According to one government official, the transportation cost and expenses can run up to USD 15,000.00.

As time is of essence, we urge everyone to follow the following link and click on the Donate button to support us financially for this cause. The donation is being collected using Nepali Association of Houston's PayPal Account. It accepts major credit/debit card for your kind contribution.

May Mr. Bhattarais soul rest in peace. May God provide the strength to his beloved family members and friends to go through such tragic event.
