I am looking for your inputs on the TPS-based EAD designed for Nepal. I should have known this, but looks like I am missing some information here. The expiration date on my EAD is June 24, 2018, and the USCIS has automatically extended the validity of employment authorization documents (EADs) issued for Nepal for an additional 6 months, through Dec. 21, 2018. This means, my or all who are on the same boat, EAD doesn't valid after Dec 21. But TPS termination date is June 24, 2019. Here is my question: Is this the last EAD that I can get based on TPS though terminate date is June 24, 2019? Can I apply for another EAD with new expiration date, basically before or on June 24, 2019? Your feedback is appreciated!

Did you not apply for EAD during the last re-registration period? if you just re-registered for TPS only, you should be able to re-apply for the EAD provided you got TPS approval.

Yes that is the last EAD that you can get from TPS since stupid Trump terminated TPS for Nepal unless you have figured out other options.

Thank you Sexy In Sari and Maxpayne! Yes, I just registered for TPS only and didn't apply for an EAD at that time. I was told that new EAD with expiration date June 24 2019 can work for more six months because they allow you an additional six months to change the status. Is this true ?

I wish they gave like 60 days grace period but they wont! The deadline is June 24
